This walk is based on the exploring session of one of the greatest poet’s residency in the history of India. Get ready to explore the residency of the poet Mirza Ghalib. He was one of the greatest poets in his era of the period of the 19th century. His birth name was Mirza Asadullah Baig Khan. His time period is 27 December 1797 to 15 February 1869. He was a poet of Urdu and Persian languages. He made his living through poetry in the era of the Mughals’ reign. He was respectfully known by two names. They are Najm-Ud-Daula and Dabir-ul-Mulk. He used Ghalib Asad as his pen name. It is an Urdu name where Ghalib means dominant and Asad means lion. Most of his notable works are from the category of the Ghazals. His poems and songs were loosely based upon the subjects of philosophy, love and mysticism.

Some of the common genres chosen preferred by him for his poems and songs are Rubai, Ghazal, Marsiyah, Qasida and Qat’aa. He is known to be the last poet to make a living through poetry under the reign of Mughal emperors. He is popular in India as well as Pakistan. He is quite famous around the world too. • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the visit, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
