Itinerary

DAY 01 : ARRIVAL DELHI

Garlanding on arrival with meeting and assistance at the airport. Our representative will meet to welcome and escort you by a private chauffeur driven transport to the Hotel. Whilst the room keys and check-in is organized, our representative will also hand over the “Welcome Folder” documents and brief you the tour programme. This is the capital city of India, and can be called as a major gateway to India. Delhi is one of the most important metropolitan in India, as it is the city of power. DAY 02 : DELHI

After breakfast combined full day city tour of Old & New Delhi visiting Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated Red Fort , Made by Mughal Empror Shahjahan, Jama Masjid, The largest in India, It has three great gateways, four angle towers and two minarets constructed of alternating vertical strips of red sandstone and white marble. Chandni Chowk , this main street of Old Delhi is the colorful shopping bazaar, known as Chandni Chowk. It has very sharp contrast to the open, spacious streets of Delhi. Laxmi Narayan Temple, dedicated to Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity and good fortune. India Gate, this 42ms high stone of triumph is a war memorial. It bears the names of 85,000 Indian army soldiers, who died in the campaigns of WWI. Rashtrapati Bhawan - This palace-like building is the official residence of the President of India and an interesting blend of Mughal and western architectural styles . Bahai Temple, or the Lotus Temple is a marvel of modern architecture. Set among pools and gardens, adherents of any faith can visit, pray or meditate. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 03 : DELHI - AGRA (243 km, 3 Hrs 52 min )

After breakfast depart by surface to Agra, On arrival check-in at Hotel. Agra is the quintessential Mughal City, where the world marvels at the epitome of love, beauty and sacrifice, The Taj-Mahal one of the wonders of the world. So overwhelming is the magic monument, that Agra has been immortalized, as the City of the Taj. Afternoon city tour visiting Taj Mahal, built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Besides the Taj, the Agra Fort (also called the Red Fort) makes an interesting sight. Besides the historical monuments, one can also explore Agra’s rich heritage of handicrafts in its markets. DAY 04 : AGRA - FATEHPUR SIKRI - JAIPUR (240 km, 4 Hrs 23 min )

After breakfast depart by surface to Jaipur, en route visit Fatehpur Sikri, (37 kms from Agra), On arrival check-in at Hotel. The picturesque capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur is color washed pink-the color associated with hospitality in Rajput culture. This Beautiful city along with Agra and Delhi form what is known as the Golden Triangle of Indian tourist circuit. Jaipur is a city where royalty still lives in the grandeur of its palaces, where fighting for the honour of the clan has never been a need but a way of life, and where treating guests as gods has been a tradition from time immemorial. DAY 05 : JAIPUR

Enjoy full day city sightseeing tour of Jaipur - the picturesque capital of Rajasthan. Morning excursion to Amer Fort - Amber is located at a distance of 11 kilometers from Jaipur and was the old fort of the Kachhwaha clan of Amber, which used to be the capital, till it was moved to Jaipur.The fort is built with white marble and red sandstone and look even more attractive because of the Maota Lake in the foreground. The fort in itself is a beautiful sight to behold but as one looks on the fort with its clear reflection on the lake in the front, one cannot help but wonder if it is a dream or a beautiful illusion. Afternoon city tour visiting City Palace, the former royal residence built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal styles. Jantar Mantar, is the largest of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. The Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions without being seen. DAY 06 : JAIPUR - MUMBAI

Mumbai formerly Bombay, is the capital of the Indian state of Maharashtra. As of 2009, Mumbai is the largest city in the world in terms of population, with the city proper having a population of approximately 14 million inhabitants, and along with the neighbouring cities of Navi Mumbai and Thane, it forms an urban agglomeration with around 19 million people. Mumbai lies on the west coast of India and has a deep natural harbour. As of 2009, Mumbai was named an Alpha world city. Later city tour once you are in Mumbai, the list of sites to visit is endless. DAY 07 : MUMBAI - CHENNAI

Chennai - Capital of the south-eastern state of Tamil Nadu, Chennai is one of the four major metropolitan cities in India. Today, it is hard to believe that a place that was till 1639 just a small fishing village would become such an enormous and beautiful city. Situated on the shores of the Bay of Bengal, Chennai is perhaps the most peaceful and green metropolis in India. Chennai has a number of attractions for the tourists to see. DAY 08 : CHENNAI

After breakfast city tour visiting, Kapaleeshwarar Temple :A masterpiece of Dravidian architecture, this ancient Shiva temple, is the biggest in Chennai . Fort St.George : Located on the seashore near the harbour, Fort St. George was built for the East India Co. in 1960 AD. Marina Beach : the pride of Chennai is the second longest beach in the World and has a wide sandy foreshore. Other attractions are Fort Museum and St. Mary's Church and Little Mount Shrine. DAY 09 : CHENNAI - COCHIN

In time transfer to airport to board flight for Cochin, On arrival meeting and assistance by our representative, welcome and escort you by a private transport and then transfer to Hotel and assist with check in Hotel. Cochin is popularly known as the “Queen on the Arabian Sea” and is the oldest European settlement in India. DAY 10 : COCHIN

After breakfast city tour of Cochin visiting Dutch Palace, built by the Portuguese known for its murals depicting scenes from the Ramayana and the Mahabharata, and dresses and palanquins used by Cochin's erstwhile rulers; Koonan Kurishu Shrine which is a small chapel, Jewish Synagogue which has a number of copper plates inscribed in the Hebrew script; Fort Kochi , St Francis Church, the oldest one to be constructed by Europeans in India; Santa Cruz Basilica with a beautifully painted ceiling, and, Chinese Fishing Nets near the harbor's entrance of Cochin. DAY 11 : COCHIN - PERIYAR (146 km, 4 Hrs )

After breakfast depart by surface to Periyar. On arrival check-in at Hotel. The Periyar Lake is a paradise for the nature lovers. It gives you an opportunity to observe the wild animals roaming in the jungle. The lake is also a birdwatcher’s delight. The greatest attraction of Periyar Lake, however, is the herds of wild elephants that come down to play in the lake. Moreover, the Sanctuary Watch Tower situated in the forest interior gives you a panoramic view of the park. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 12 : PERIYAR

After breakfast city tour visiting Periyar Wildlife Sancuary – In the rich jungles of Periyar in Thekkady is one of the world's most fascinating natural wildlife reserves - the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Spread across 777 sq km, of which 360 sq. km is thick evergreen forest, the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. Noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wildlife and scenic beauty, the Reserve attracts visitors from all over the world. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 13 : PERIYAR - ALLEPPEY (140 km, 3 Hrs 55 min )
