Itinerary

DAY 01 : ARRIVAL AT DELHI
Welcome. On arrival you will be greeted & provided with warm assistance by our representatives to get transferred to the hotel. Check in at the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 02 : DAY TOUR IN DELHI
After breakfast, a city tour including old and New Delhi will begin. The first place to be visited will be Raj Ghat; Mahatma Gandhi was cremated here. Peace prevails at this venue and a beautiful garden provides the calm. Followed by visiting the red fort. It defined initially the boundaries of Delhi during the reign of Mughal emperor Shahjahan. It is made out of Red bricks mostly hence gets its name. You can get an insight into the lifestyle of Shahjahan as things from his time have been well preserved here. The next stop will be Jama Masjid, it is one of the largest mosques in India. it has entry from three major gateways leading you to four angular towers and two minarets. They have been well designed by the alternating use of white marble and red sandstone. The beauty is worth watching. It gives this monument a unique touch of its own. It is in the heart of a very old market called the Chandni Chowk. During the Mughals, this market used to take place of full moon nights under the light of the moon, hence its name. Interestingly now it is the busiest market in town. Every item can be purchased here only you will have to manoeuvre through thin roads. It is very old so there is no scope of widening as compared to the rest of Delhi. Next comes the spiritual stop at Laxmi Narayan Temple, or fondly called the Birla temple. It is made of glistening white marble and well kept and polished to date. You will not be allowed to take in cameras so please bear with it. You can grasp each detail in your memory and live the moment. There is one tiny prayer room made of mirrors in each direction. It is so designed that where you may stand you can see the statue of the god, emphasizing the fact that God is all around us. It is basically a tribute to goddess Lakshmi and Lord Narayana. The next stop will be at the India Gate, it is a war memorial. It was built in the fond memories of the 85,000 martyred soldiers during the First World War. These 42 meters high monuments inscribed by the names of these men and a large lamp are light 24x7 as a symbol of respect for the sacrifice by these men and their families. Close by is the Rashtrapati Bhawan or the president's house. It is the official residence cum office of the president of India. The architecture is a unique blend of Mughal and western influence. Though permission to visit from inside is not given to tourists. Last but not the least you will be visiting Qutab Minar. It is recognised as the tallest ever minaret in the world made of bricks. It is also one among the UNESCO heritage sites in India. it is a 73 meters high building. It was constructed as a celebration of conquering of Delhi by Muslim rulers. There is a metal pillar in the same complex which shows off the metallurgy of that era was much superior that today as it has not rusted till date and stands as it is in rain and sun alike. DAY 03 : DELHI – MATHURA – AGRA (246 Km, 4 Hrs 12 Min)
After breakfast depart by surface to Agra, En-route you will be visiting Mathura. It is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Krishna and there are many telltale stories related to that era. On the banks of river Yamuna, there is highly worshipped temple by the name of Krishna Janam Bhoomi Mandir. You can get a glimpse of stories about naughty Lord Krishna in his childhood. You can have a stroll around in the local market. You can buy local products from here including handicraft items. Agra is famous for two local sweets by the mane of Petha and Peda. You must try them. On arrival check-in at Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 04 : AGRA - FATEHPUR SIKRI - JAIPUR (239 Km, 4 Hrs 29 Min)
After you have had your breakfast the journey toward pink city Jaipur shall begin by road. Sightseeing will be there on the way. Start your visit to the Majestic Taj Mahal. The intricate work of marble and exquisite stones can be seen. The river can be seen flowing along the boundary walls of this monument. Then you will be taken to the Agra Fort. This was the official residence of the Mughals until the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi. The next stop will be red sandstone city, Fatehpur Sikri. It is interesting to note that famous Bollywood movies like Jodha Akbar were shot here. There are buildings like Buland Darwaza which is the entry gate to the Jama Masjid here, Panch Mahal and Jodha bais Mahal. Then further journey to Pink city Jaipur begins. Once in the city, you will be checked in to the hotel so that you may freshen up and overnight stay. You may choose to go around in the local market and try out local delicacies. The Rajasthani food is very spicy so please be careful when you try it. There are items such as shoes made of leather. Also, you may indulge in junk jewellery shopping as they are very colourful and unique to Rajasthan. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 05 : CITY TOUR OF JAIPUR
Jaipur is known as a Pink city due to the extensive use of pink marble in the monuments around the city. Beginning the day by going to Amer Fort after breakfast. It is one of the significant monuments of the Hindu rulers in the pink city of Jaipur. Return back to the main city to visit the City Palace. It is a building made with the infusion of Rajasthani and Mughal styles of architecture. Close by is the Jantar Mantar, It is a monument used to see time and do the reading of the stars. Next, the stop is the Hawa Mahal, it is also called the palace of winds as it has many windows. It was constructed for the royal ladies to witness the royal processions without having to come out in the open among the other local people. You shall also be visiting Jaigarh fort, Birla Mandir and Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh. These were built for the entertainment of the royal ladies; it is a multi-layered garden and has beautiful fountains. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 06 : JAIPUR - CHENNAI
In time transfer to airport to board flight for Chennai, On arrival meeting and assistance by our representative, welcome and escort you by a private transport and then transfer to Hotel and assist with check in Hotel. You may choose to visit the beaches and enjoy some family time and rekindle the romance. You can also explore the local market and try some special delicacies. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 07 : IN CHENNAI
After you have had breakfast, begin your day tour of sightseeing in Chennai. Chennai was formerly known as Madras. It is the capital city of Tamil Nadu. It is a vast city with a mostly clear sky and long sandy beaches. The tour begins by going to Fort St. George, it now has a museum to commemorate. The next stop shall be the first Angelic Church of Asia, St. Mary’s Church. The next stop will be the National Art Gallery, you can get a glimpse of the art and culture of south India majorly. A beautiful set of paintings and statues can be found at the next stop of Kalapleeshwar temple. This temple has been made by the Dravidian rulers so it reflects their architectural interests. The temple is devoted to Lord Shiva. The inscriptions on the walls can be dated back to 1250 AD. It shows how old the temple is. The next you can visit the famous Parthasarthy temple. It was built by the Pallavas as a dedication to their ruler Krishna. There are magnificent representations of Lord Vishnu in five avatars including that of Krishna. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 08 : CHENNAI - BANGALORE

DAY 09 : DAY TOUR IN BANGALORE
After you have had your breakfast, you will proceed for sightseeing. There are loads to explore in the city ask fondly known as the garden city. Begin the tour from Lalbagh Gardens; it is the oldest botanical gardens of the city. It was built by Haider Ali, later different varieties of flowers were brought from far-off places and planted here on special instructions of Tipu Sultan. It reflects his love for nature all around. The next stop will be Cubbon park as known As Chamarajendra Park. It serves as the lungs to the city. It is rich in greenery and is situated in the heart of the city. Next, you will go to the famous ISKCON temple. It is beautiful made of white marble. It is dedicated to Lord Krishna, devotees from all over the throng this temple year-round. Next, you will go to Vidhana Soudha, it the office of the state legislature. It is allowed to be visited from outside. The building is built in the neo-Dravidian style. Then you can visit the Dodda Ganesh temple or the bull temple. This Nandi temple is one of a kind, the largest statue of the bull has been placed here for prayer. It is situated on a hilltop giving a wonderful view below. Then you may resort to shopping for the late evening. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 10 : BANGALORE - COCHIN

DAY 11 : COCHIN - ALLEPPEY/HOUSEBOAT - COCHIN (53 Km, 1 Hrs 38 Min One Side)
After breakfast, you will be going to Alleppey by road. Alleppey or Alappuzha is famous for its backwaters. It is known as the Venice of the East. Though we think it is even better as it is surrounded by greenery all around. It connects to the sea. Houseboats run on these. You will be going aboard one such AC houseboat for a ride and a scrumptious lunch. You will get a taste of the authentic Kerala traditions on this boat. Alleppey is famous for its coconut plantations. It serves as a source of raw material for the coir industry. The backwaters are used to transport goods also. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 12 : DAY TOUR COCHIN
After having breakfast begin sightseeing from the Dutch Palace. It has a collection of paintings and artifacts of the Rajas of Kochi. Then go to St, Francis church; one of the oldest European churches to be built in India. Santa Cruz Basilica, it is one of the eight Basilicas in India. it is visited by devotees all year-round. It is a very famous tourist destination. On your way, you can notice the Chinese net on the vicinity of the harbor. There are many Hindu and Christian paintings and inscriptions in Hebrew to be seen at the fort. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 13 : DEPART COCHIN
